OPEC wouldn't be able to raise prices if we were still producing at pre Joebama levels. Simple cause and effect or supply and demand. Joe destroyed our oil independence on day one of his insane administration, and it has just gotten worse.
$4.59 for gasoline at Bay Point in Ohio…. Busy as hell… fuel prices are not slowing anyone down

Well, you need to understand how the supply/demand curve works and the fact that Biden essentially overnight shut down several million barrels a day of US production, which was keeping the price down and was really hurting the OPEC cartel.

This is crazy. There seems to be no end to how high HRC will go.
That assumes you can find it. Metals are all fkd up. Customers think its 2019 and everything should be "normal." Automakers make cars to store in fields cause they don't have chips. People keep buying stuff because money apparently grows on trees.

It is CAD $1.59/litre at our marina for ethanol-free mid grade. That works out to about US $4.73 per gallon. Last summer it was about C$1.40/l

Just paid $4.29/gallon at one of the marina's on our lake. $2.89 last year. $3.89 last month. Gas dock was packed. I always tell my kids that gas is the cheapest part of boating.

$3.78/gallon at the fuel dock, $3.24 on the street. We may be the cheapest fuel on Lake Michigan.... and it's been this price for over a month now. And they get a delivery every weekend it seems...

Just paid 4.30/gallon for diesel at Sams in Vacaville, last week I
Paid 4.04. I think our state has tax hike just went into effect. I hope that chaffes enough Dems to kick Newsome to the curb. Almost all of his challengers are calling for repeal of the recent tax hikes.
Red Diesel at the dock is about 4.50/gallon last week anyway. I don’t know if the tax hike exempts off road fuel or not.
Just for yuks I looked into the off road tax exemption for use of diesel in CA. There is a procedure to go through to get a partial refund. They charge the tax at the pump and make you grovel for it to get a refund. They also make it nearly impossible to find the forms you need. At $.27 a gallon though you would need to burn a bunch to make it worth the trouble to seek a refund for a recreational boater anyway.
