The on/off handle on my transom shower pulls out for on and pushes in for off (then swivels left or right for hot or cold). When pushed in, there is a steady drip coming from the shower head...enough to make a mess in the bilge within a couple of hours.

I looked at the connections behind the enclosure and there are hot and cold water lines connected but there is no apparent way to open the valve to check for a worn washer.

Does anyone have any knowledge how to repair this?

Thanks
Jim

It most likely isn't repairable. Sea Ray began using transom shower heads with an anti-siphon feature built in. Either the shower head is on or it leaks a little bit so that if it falls off the transom you won't accidently siphon seawater back into your freshwater system. You can change the shower head to one without the anti-siphon feature in it and stop the leak.
