Last night my Line 2 shore power went out. Checked all breakers and everything looks good. I switched power cords from Line 1 to Line 2 and still no power. I pulled out the receptical and all connections are tight and no corrosion. Everything on the back of the distribution panel is tight, no loose wires. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike

My brother experienced something like this on his Chaparrel last weekend. He found two issues. The breaker in his cabin electrical box hooked to that line had broke. He had no idea why. Never been apart. He also pulled the problem receptacle from the boat and the wires behind it were burnt. He installed new breaker and repaired broken wires and it worked again. We both have no idea why or how either situation occurred. This was all on his AC Line....

Start at the source with a volt meter and work your way back to the panel taking readings every step along the way. Don't jump all over the place. Have a logical method to your madness and the problem will soon rear it's ugly head.

Are there breakers above the receptacles in the lockers?

Listen to him, he does this for a living !!!!!!

Thanks for the help. I did switch the cords at both the pedestals and in the locker. I also checked the breakers in the locker and all connections are clean and tight. I'm going to use a volt meter to check all the connections. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
