I recently purchased my SR with an OEM tower, no bimini and I am looking for a bimini (with little success) that folds and can be integrated with the tower, any suggestions? thanks!

Congrats on the new to you boat, and welcome! I don't have an answer for tour exact model, but on mine, the factory bimini is short enough that it is used under the tower. Check out www.searay.com/us/en/owners.html and you will find pictures of yours and other models, manuals, spec sheets, etc.

Biminis can be ordered online at great lakes, overtons, west marine, and many other places.

The factory Bimini Top for a 2006 195 Sport with Tower would have been supplied to Sea Ray by Great Lakes Boat Top (GLBT). We are distributors for GLBT, CSR Sponsors and we also offer the CSR member discount. If you would be interested in this you can send me your info at www.covemarine.com and I will be more than happy to help you get the right information.

A couple of things to take note of is that shipping for Bimini Tops with the frames must go via Freight as the frames are shipped as solid pieces. (This will add a little more expense based on your location). Also, the factory Bimini top is designed to take the tower into consideration as there is a specific version for tower models. The covers would use Sunbrella fabric and would be available in a variety of colors - they are all made to order from the original factory templates.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
-Kevin

The factor bimini was indeed made by Great Lakes and was integral to the tower. It has a hole in the back of the fabric that slides over the anchor light then zips around the rear crossbar of the tower. There is then a single arched support that swings out from the tower and ends up roughly over the windshield and has straps the attach to hooks just in front of the windshield. When not in use there is a cover for the bimini and it stows nicely on the front side of the tower. I'll see if I can find a pic and figure out how to post it.

Can you check with the previous owner to see if they still have the bimini that would have came with the boat? It looks they took the bimini off because of all of those speakers.

If you're just looking for a generic bimini top, it would be a stand-a-lone top and you check a place like Carver Covers. It will not integrate, at all, with the tower like the factory one, though. It also might be a little awkward to put up and down because of the speakers and you will likely have to have one that is a little shorter than normal... and you may have to alter your cockpit cover, too.
