Looking for New England charter operation

We've chartered several times in the Chesapeake Bay and Florida - mostly trawlers. We'd like to move a little farther North next summer to see some new territory. I'm having trouble finding any type of charter operation in the New England coastal area. Anyone aware of any in your area?

While we love where we are, I would definitely suggest that you think about the Penobscot Bay area. This is where Northeast and Southwest harbors are. SW is the home of Hinckly, they do tours. The area is very similar to an archipelago with many small islands that provide beautiful scenary and places to anchor. There are also many rental / transient moorings placed here and there. These often just have a float with a phone number and work on an honor system. I have done a lot of cruising there and it is well worth the trip.

I have not chartered from these folks, but know of them from sailing with a friend who has kept his sailboat with them for many years. I have seen the boats and they seem to be well kept. Bucks Harbor Marine (www.bucksharbor.com).
