Marine Traffic dot com photos ?

Does anyone know what’s up with the photos that show up of our boats on that site?
A few days ago I noticed that there was a picture of our boat included on my vessel info page that I did not provide. It has the photographers name on it and is a nice shot of the boat as it sat at the dock in Houghton MI, but it is unauthorized and we were not present when it was taken. I suppose there is fine print somewhere explaining but I can’t find any. Do those guys get paid for that by MT.com or is that just a way to get their pictures and their names publicly displayed? I would certainly hope MT.com reviews photos before posting to someone’s vessel page if anyone can do it. Maybe the photographers are pre-approved?

No they don't get "paid" if you upload 100 photos a month you earn some credit for deeper access I remember. I have added a bunch of photos on boats around here. It is simple with the MT app on your phone as you simply identify the target and snap and upload. Yes they review before posting. I have had some rejected for bad angle and others you could see people. I like it, you should upload more of your boat.
