Could be. Found some of the 420 ads are old too. Some have been sold.Dean I did a quick search on YW there where 12 - 420db 2004 and up compared to 3 -480db same vintage and the 480 was $100,000 more than the 420 dB so less inventory and more money.maybe these owners are upside down on their boats and won’t let them go?
Larry couldn’t find one in the tri state area last year for sale

I learned along time ago in flying airplanes, You never keep track of what it is costing you because if you do it is always on your mind and it takes the fun out of it!!if we would have looked at the cost on paper before we started boating I bet a high percentage of us would have not engaged this expensive pastime............

Not really a fair comparison. The last year of the 480 was 2004. Then it was rebadged the 500. The 420 existed for 2004 and 2005 (2006, too?). So of course you’ll find more of them.

2004 480Db.Wasn't the 2005 a substantially redesigned model over the 2004 480? I think it's this older styling that'll keep these boats on the market longer.

The 52 is a beauty but i think the 480 design (interior and exterior) still holds up. Must be all that room! BTW why is that 52 running with no one at the helm, no mooring, just drifting 50 feet from shore...lol?
That, I don’t know. There was a big mod from 1998 to 1999 with the addition of the hard top. Somewhere around then a rounded top came into play. But I didn’t know there were major changes from 04 to 05? Maybe that accompanied the change to the 500? I don’t see many 05 480s.
I think the 1999-2004 480 models look great. I’m in the market myself and would happily get a 2000 480 over a 2004 420.
I've never even heard of an '05 480DB. That doesn't mean they doesn't exist of course...
So the hard part I guess is done. Said farewell to our 320 this past weekend as the new owners took possession. (Slightly giddy about not having to winterize this season). Looking at a couple 480 DB and a 420 DB this weekend.
The 480DB was redesigned into the 500DB for '05 only, then became the 52DB.Don’t take my word for it. I’m still learning, so I’m probably mistaken.
