I have a neighbor I was hoping would be a victim of the recession, unfortunately he seems to be doing well judging by the sound of the beer bottles being tossed out his back door.

My neighbor story(saga)
On Monday(a few weeks ago), I got home from work, and no cable or tv... not good. I called my boys, my oldest said he'd lost int. around 11 or so that morning. He just figured it was an area outage. I called Comcast, they said they'd get someone over from 2-4 on Tues.
Tues around 3:40, the comcast guy (Andy) arrived. Eventually, the comcast guy found the problem, but he was troubleshooting it and he couldn't get it to work.
While we were troubleshooting it at the box that is on the border at the street between my house and my west nbr's house, my west side nbr (witch of the west) came out and pretended to be watering her plants out front... being nosy was what she was doing.
Andy was confused with his testing results, and went and checked the witch's(my west nbr) cable and she starts yelling at him to not trespass and started spraying her hose at him. he said Comcast has right-of-way onto her prop.
She said well, it'd be nice if he asked, he said he didn't have to
She said a smith and wesson would change his mind.
He said if she did that, he'd have the cops here immediately.
After, he told me, he's also in the local vol fire dept, registered with homeland security which gives him homeland sec protection as a first responder. if he didn't want to deal with the paperwork, he could get her for just threatening him.
I said if he didn't have to deal with her, he could just unplug her cable for a day or 2
I then remembered that they'd dug a line under my driveway to my east nbr's cable box 8-10 yrs ago... so we went there
The comcast guy opened it up, looked at it, and said that they 'd had a disconnect notice for a nbr who just sold their house down the street. The person that did the disconnect cut the wrong unmarked cable (mine).
Oh, later the cable guy found out she called Comcast, and complained, he called me back, and asked if I could give a statement on what I'd heard to comcast. It had been escalated to corp. He explained to his super what I'd told him.
I was talking to my nbr on the east side of me later about this incident. My east nbr has 2 young girls. they're in school with this woman's(west nbr) neice's dtrs. So, this nbr knows this woman's neice... and somehow they got to talking about it last year, and she said their entire family has issues dealing with her and that she had issues with everyone she worked with at IBM when she used to work there. (imagine that!)
I just talked to the comcast guy again... he filed a police rpt, after she complained to comcast, so he had it logged. the cops were over at her place later that night, for about an hr responding to his report.
I'm still waiting to hear from comcast. he said I may or may not get a call from them. I never did.
