Today I completed installing the new snap studs on the transom and snapped the carpet down. This will be nice.

I'm very happy with their quality.
Some of the the rest before I installed it.

Looks great! Nice choice on the color.

That is gonna be nice.

SO did you use a hoover snap tool or what? Color is dead on for the bimini too...

Looks really nice. I am loaning my snap tool out today to a good friend... as a temp trade for the Blue ray version of "Pacific"...

PS: bought my portable vac from WalMart and am very happy with it... Bought the Black and Decker 18v and it lasts about two weeks on the boat without charging... Have had it for at least three years...

Be sure to look for 18V or more...

Hey Doug
It was a Press~n~snap tool that Corithian lends you after purchase for 2 weeks. It worked great. I'd like to get one for other projects.
I ordered the snaps from Rochfordsupply.com

One of the really nice things about Corinthian is that you can make your own patterns. I found the folks at Corinthian to be flexible and easy to work with and their work of the highest quality. I hate to walk on snaps, so I made the cockpit carpet patterns to fit against the side walls of the cockpit so snaps were no longer necessary. My boat is on their website and here is one of the photos:

Looks really really nice Frank... I also like that table... sets off the entire area nicely...

Todd, looks great, matches the canvas and name.

Frank, that is a sweet table and I really like the base.

Cordless vac, I think I need one.

It does look nice!

I do not think I have seen a pic of someone with the carpet on the swim platform. What is that color? My canvas is just like yours......

The color is Corinthian's mariner blue. It's darker than the Mediterranean Blue Sunbrella canvas.

I want to change the canvas (hopefully next year) to Captain navy dark blue by Sunbrella so I wanted the darkest Navy Corinthian had. This will be OK and I like it a lot, but darker would be good too.
I got the last snaps installed today so everything's done.

Looks even better when it's all done Todd! How was the snap install? Do you snug the carpet a tad between snaps? Do the corners first, last or any other tricks? I'm sure the carpet comes with this info but I was curious.

No they don't give you instructions. I just bought the snaps, used the tool they lent me and went at it. I did pretty well. I only had one that was a bad relocate. It's under the aft settee and I don't think I'll ever snap it anyway so for now, I'm leaving it. I'd like to buy the Snap n press tool to do some other projects because it really works well.

I used the same color for my upper salon area. Looks and wears great. Corinthian also gave me a 10% discount for being a SeaRay Club member.

Hi Todd - any user report on the swim platform carpet? I'm 90% there with committing, but how quickly does it dry in the sun? It really looks great.
Thanks,
Keith

So far I'm very happy. It survived a very heavy traffic weekend this weekend at Jones island. I just need to vacuum it up now. It didn't get very wet yet. I have hosed off the transom carpet already and it seems to dry hanging pretty quickly.
