Just finished hanging my new isinglass curtains/panels. Man what a difference. The folks at Boatswain's Locker are fantastic. I tried a few local guys but had very bad luck. Either the pricing was way out of line and/or the workmanship was terrible.

The products I got from Boatswain's Locker looks even better, workman ship and stitching, than the stuff they installed at the factory. Boatswain's Locker is in fact the SeaRay canvas installers and have been for many years. The the new product line looks even better. I couldn't be more pleased. Boatswain's Locker is a sponsor of this site.

Bottom line; if you have a canvas project and want to set your SeaRay up as it rolled off the factory floor, call Boatswain's Locker. Or just click on the advertisements on this site. In the long run you'll save time, money and aggravation and have a better looking project.

After a three day run; hot, cold, wet and dry, still looked good. Maybe my expert insulation and/or the fact they make a damned fine product, it looks great. Weather tight. Couldn't be happier.

+1 on Boatswain, first class!!!

Is this something you sent to them, or do they have the factory patterns to make from scratch

Are you getting paid for the ongoing endorsement?

Great Lakes handled most boats up to the 340/370 range depending on year.

Above that Boatswain's (and others as well as Sea Ray internally) provided canvas for the larger boats.

Boatswain's is a great company with very nice people and we are a dealer for them also. Unfortunately I don't deal that much with them as the majority of boats are smaller.

If they fabricated for your boat they most likely have the template. They will also process modifications to the new canvas from the template during production. Some of the other companies did not keep the template and put it on the boat only to get lost over the years.

I'm having full bridge enclosure done in the factory Boatswain stuff, they also did a aft deck screen enclosure for me. Awesome people over there in Jacksonville, Fl.

No; be a lot more laditory if that were the case. Just thought those who are into that sort of project might like to know how it was faring. I think a reasonable assumption on my part. Come to think of it I've done that a time or two; completed a DIY project then updated the work in order to document the process in its entirety.

I thought Great Lakes Canvas was Sea Ray’s canvas supplier? Did they re-name?

I talked to them first. They have patterns for the smaller boats; the larger vessels are with are with Boatswain. Least that's the word they gave me three months ago.

I will post pics next week as my bridge canvas is being installed Monday and I'll also include aft screen enclosure as they just used canvas pattern to fabricate screen enclosure

I hope they have mine, their website showed this
