Hello folks! I'm a "new" owner to a 1991 Sea Ray Sundancer 270 and am happy to finally have a comfortable boat. She is overall in really good shape for her age, kind of like me. She was made in 1991 and that was when I was deployed from Germany to Saudi Arabia for Desert Shied/Storm. So we both have some years on us but still up and running.

She's go some minor fiberglass crazing and some real minor TLC that needs to be done. But she is actually ready to put in the water and that was something I was really looking for. Didn't want a project boat from the start and never have a chance to get her in the water.

I've got some minor questions but those can come later.

Hey doc, you in USA? Cause that appears to have the curved windshield which is definitely not a 91, came out in 92. It seems same boat as my 250. Searay played funny with the numbers back then.

Yep, I'm in the USA, PA to be exact. The title shows it's a 91 so that is all I have to go off of. Not sure if I can use the hull number to determine the year or not. I'm not actually a doc, the first 2 letters are the first letters of my first and middle name.

I'd really be interested in finding out about getting a replacement bimini. The front is in good shape but the rear one has dead zippers. The prior owner hadn't gotten around to locating a replacement and my internet searching has been problematic. The color on yours look to be about the same shade as mine.

I had a new front made at a canvas shop this winter. $1400. Find a good local shop. The will use your top as a template to make a new one. Best to do over winter, these shops get backed up, i contracted with a shop in late October, they got it made end of January.
You will not find a ready to buy replacement. Too old. Has to be custom made.

Yep, we have a dinette on the port side and really opens up the boat on the inside. Now the V-berth up in the nose doesn't have a table. Just for lounging and eventually sleeping with the addition put in it. Local for me would probably be the Baltimore area as I don't think there are canvas workers up in Harrisburg.

You have what was the 268 from 86 - 89. I had 2, loved them. Now i get why you have the curved shield on a 91. It was one of the first models to use that style.

Going by the HIN it was made July of 1990 and a 1991 production model.

Canvas - give him a call.
Tell him I recommend him
