All i can say is wow - what a game changer. Its a 37 footer, 11'6" of beam with a full beam master stateroom aft/amidships. Made possible by 2 hidden 300hp verado outboards that tilt up completely out of the water (still hidden) this thing has the room of a 45+ footer and the fuel efficincy/performance of a large center console. Price is said to be in the high 200s. They are saying all current smaller "sundancers" will go this way - with plans for larger models using 350 verados when released and smaller models using singles - by by heavy, outdated, sterndrives. Axius is also in the works for the twin outboards. It is impressive that in this economy searay has taken the opportunity to re-tool and re-invent the segment once again. I know there will be the "traditionalists" that dont immediatly accept the new boat but i think it is very exiting - i will try to get some pics up soon

Sounds interesting. Can't wait to see the pics.

In the UAE we have a lot of Sports/Pocket/Express cruisers with outboards - I think the largest I have seen is about 52'? They are mostly from "Local" manufactures. Its great for lower maintenance and less corrosion.

But when something goes really wrong with the outboards - only way to get them repaired is to pull them out. Things are really tight in an V8 outboard. One of the other problems is the sun takes it's toll on the engines being in "dessert sun" all day. But with hidden / shaded engines that might work.

Anyway - innovation that brings better fuel and maintenance economy - and gives more on-board space - is very welcome.

That is what I want. Big boat with easy to maintain outboards. I cannot wait to see pictures

Why not just come to Knoxville in September for the Homecoming/Cruiser Expo?

I bet you can even run one there.......without a salesman drooling on your feet.

Marshall,

I'm in the results department. You'll have to address that question to the Finance Dept.......................

I'm not a buyer for a 37, but I can't wait to get a look at that one and run it.

I have a pdf of the brochure on my phone with all the specs and pics but I can't figure out how to attach it - can anyone help me - my phone is a Droid - I almost forgot - I was told 4 were pre sold and at least one was built

Hey, no worries. Thanks for coming up with the doc in the first place. The boat has a very intriguing design.

Can anybody figure out how to get to the bow from the cockpit? The gunwales on the side look to narrow to traverse and there doesn't appear to be any steps on or near the cabin door.

ETA: Nevermind. The steps to the bow are in front of the port side seat and not centered like I have seen on many other boats.
