New to the site

Hi all, I moved my boat, after 8 years in dry dock, to Lake Erie this summer and am looking for some help in finding my way around. It has been a very long time since I floated Erie and more than likely will get myself lost. I'm also somewhat new to this site and have no idea how to post messages or chat with other members. I have a 1995 330 Dancer. I'll post pictures as soon as get her cleaned up and back in the water. 8 years is a long time between cruises. I would appreciate a response from someone just to make sure I've figured this out. Thanks

Welcome" i have boated lake Erie for 30 years just ask what you need I may not be able to answer all but I will get you an answer if I can. I boat out of Catawba Island. I started with a 17' tri hull, to a 23' citation, to a 27' sport craft. to a 2000 268 four winns to a now 07 32' SEA RAY. Four Winns is still for sale.

I suggest that you install a GPS to your boat if you do not have one. They are worth their weight in gold when it comes to going places you have not been.The new technoligy today is great. Some models have an actual picture of marina's. If you have not used one before they may be overwhelming at first but once you get used to it you will have it on all the time. Radar is even better.
