Fresh Water Tank Removal on 1998 310DA?
Has anyone changed their water tank on a 1998 310DA.
I have searched this thread but, have come up empty handed.
Would like to know what kind of challenges I am going to have.
Thanks

Pretty easy. I did it on my '99 310 DA. Should be right under and behind your steps. Drain it out (don't run the pump too long with no water), unbolt, disconnect hoses, and you should be good. Make sure to close off the connections as water may come back through if the boat is under weigh.

Pretty easy is what I wanted to hear! Thanks for the reply.

Re: Trailer questions - please help with dimensions

Here you go with pictures

We've been loving our boat, no issues since replacing the water pump (both sides, even though only one needed it).

We still can't decided for sure if we should put it on a trailer and head south for the winter.

Do you have any pictures of the boat on the trailer, specifically how it looks from the back with the bunks, props, rudders and exhaust?

Thanks again,
JG

Sorry, I do not and the boat is covered and in storage for the winter.

No worries. Supposed to be mid 60s tomorrow and nearly 70 on Wednesday so I am heading to the boat, and we're in MAINE!

Does anybody know where I can find the little oval window located at the bow ? I have one broken.

Not sure what you mean by fast back? Here on the island some work shops manufacture these rear aluminum units which can be folded as required. If this is what you are looking for. The nice thing about this frame it works like a t top on a walk around.

So just a quick update. We moved our boat (well, by we, I mean ME) to FL from Maine. I drove it down last week without incident. The permits ending up costing a bit more than I expected, the fuel a bit less. The Marina who was lifting it off the trailer did lift the aft a little too high to get the sling under and broke the winch mount / bow roller arms but they're going to fix that. I had it in the water (85+ degrees) north of Bocca Grande and it ran great (though noticeably a tad hotter than the waters in Maine, brrrrr).

Before I flew home, I ran over to the boat show in Fort Lauderdale. WOW, incredible if you've never been.

Anyone else down in the Placida, Charlotte, Venice area?

Cheers,
JG

Great...Good luck......

I have the tailor-made bubble back and also have the factory fastback which I use the most the tailor-made is nice if you don't have the full camper option The tailor-made is a little cumbersome to put up, as it has rods like a pup tent

I need something to give us some shade. Can the boat be operated with it up or does it flap around ?
