I'm relatively new to the Forum, but I believe that is the Fresh Water Flush Line for flushing parts of the engines with fresh water... Should have a female adapter that fits on garden hose, then it is a "quick connect" to that piece you see in the picture...the blue cap is supposed to be on there when not used...
I was thinking it was a fresh water flush too, but can someone definitively confirm and walk a newbie through the fresh water flush process?
It is the freshwater flush.
You need to look up the owners manual for your serial numbers on your motors.
There were 2 different kinds of flushing systems.
I believe the one you have is the same as mine.
You're supposed to close the seacock and take the blue plugs out of the manifolds and (without the motor running )
turn the hose on and flush for 15 minutes.
The newer ones can be run with the seacock closed and the flush port hooked up.
Depends where that flush hose is plumbed in.
If its after the raw water pump you can't run it.

In my setup, I follow the same procedure but, according to the manual, I must turn on the engine immediately after I plug the water hose into the flush manifold. Max RPM during flushing 1500. Engines: 350 MAG MPI (V-Drives), year 2001
How often do you flush?

Hello to all,
I am in the market for a 2000-2002 310 DA with I/O (will be on a trailer), and I would like to know from you guys what is your opinion on this boat in general. I mean I have read 1700+ posts in this thread :smt101 but I haven't found something I was hoping for, a pros and cons list from the owners of this model. Can you fine gentlemen, owners of the 1998-2002 310DA provide us, newbies of the 1998-2002 310DA, such a list with pros and cons?
Thank you in advance,
Nick
