Hey all, anyone have a Westerbeke 7.0 BCG mounted on the stb side of the stb engine? That's my set up, and I've done zero maintenance on it since I got the boat in 2014, outside of replacing the impeller which absolutely disintegrated a couple of years ago. Oil change seems easy enough from what I've read, but it seems like it would be incredibly hard to access the spark plugs where the gen is mounted. Any advice on that project is appreciated, as well as any others recommended.
Have any of you 330EC owners changed the track and rollers on the door leading into the cabin?
I was looking at it this weekend and see screws along the bottom in front of the Port seat and one screw along the top where the track is visible. I am curious if there are other hidden fasteners. This is high on my to-do list over the winter. My track and rollers are shot.
Thanks in advance for any wisdom.
Sounds about right, I have a 2000 330 with 7.4 horizons and I cruise about 18-19 knots .6-.7 gal/nm. I always say we all can’t get to the dock at the same time when travelling with a group...lots of dock hands are a plus too!Just wondering what people are getting for cruise speed I have. 34 aj with 7.4 and just starting going and I am running 19-20 at 3400 fuel burn seems to be about .8 mpg just wishing it was a bit faster
Hi Bob, not sure if you and Rob made a deal on that rear bench but if not let me know....very interested in finding one for my 330Rob - Glad you're still interested! It definitely matches the picture you posted, but I'd like to send you a couple of pictures of it before you get too excited. I'll try and get those snapped this weekend. My email address is rg.nyhuis@outlook.com. We can use that for any future correspondence. Bob Nyhuis

I own a 97 330EC and am looking for a replacement refrigerator if anyone has any suggestions? I have found the Norcold DE-0041 AC/DC will fit but has a lot of bad reviews. Any other options are welcome! Also doing some renovations and looking to buy one of the removable L-shape aft benches if anyone has one for sale. And recommendations on a good generator to add. The original option was a Westerbeke 4.5KW but in 20 years is that still the recommended option or is there a better one? Thanks!
Hi everyone, I have made the decision to replace the upholstery on my upper deck seats and was wondering if anyone has any experience removing the helm seat. I think they are bolted from inside the cavity that houses the ice maker but not sure. I am an hour away from where I store the boat so I wanted to be sure I arrive with enough tooling should I need to pull the referigerator that now sits in place of the original ice maker.
Thanks for the reply and the pictures they really help me see what I am into...I dread pulling that fridge out again but I have nothing but time right now as I wait for launch in 5 months.View attachment 63995 View attachment 63996
You are correct it’s six screws underneath after you remove the icemaker there’s also a piston that connects to the power seat that has to be dismantled as well nothing complicated just tight spaces and patience
