Next to the air conditioning overflow pan is an empty void (right side)that will fill up with water if your pan is clogged when the boat rocks back-and-forth it will spill over and run along the channel underneath the carpet where the water tank cover is and find its way into that center storage compartment, take a lookI’m having water accumulate in the storage compartment under the cabin floor on our 01’ 340 Amberjack. I checked the shower sump and cleaned it out, but it wasn’t bad at all. View attachment 116521 I checked the overflow pan on the A/C unit and there doesn’t seem to be anything accumulating there as well. I even shut off the A/C unit for a week after draining the area, but the water came back. It has a brownish coloration to the water. Any guesses what the issue may be?
yes, somehow it was following a path to my dry box still have not found it but i am going to use uv dye to find the path it took. But water heater located in Engin room ?
Stay with the AC Delcos I use Rotella 20w-40 its good oil and I have no issuesGot a few question for you guys, so I’ve been running the quicksilver 25-40 in my boat, I’ve noticed a lot of guys are using rotella. What’s your thoughts on this and what weight should i go with I have 454 mag horizons w/800hours
Also I plan on doing my risers and manifold this spring, my question is I want to replace spark plugs while I’m at it I’ve been running ACdelcos, should I stick with those or go NGK?
Also have anybody cleaned their air intake?
I also plan on doing cutlass bearings and was wondering did anybody has input on the best brand etc.
I’m just looking to get a list of things to do in the spring, if anybody has any other preventative maintenance idea I’m open to ideas.
Ill check it out….thanks!Next to the air conditioning overflow pan is an empty void (right side)that will fill up with water if your pan is clogged when the boat rocks back-and-forth it will spill over and run along the channel underneath the carpet where the water tank cover is and find its way into that center storage compartment, take a look
I did sand the floor with 60 grit and filled a couple of areas with filler, but not much. It is VERY resilient. Our Lab goes in and out of the cabin all the time and it still looks great 4 years later..That looks great, is it fairly easy to cut and lay? Did you need to level your floor at all?
Message Me your Email and I will send you my receiptsI apologize for asking so many questions, but a couple more if you don’t mind…
-I like the colour you chose, do you remember which number? What about the trim pieces?
-Are they strips that click together?
- my boat is in storage in Wilson, New York and I’m in Canada, so I don’t have easy access to it now, so I can’t measure the floor space. Do you remember how much you needed to complete the cabin floor? I don’t mind ordering extra if need be.
ThankHey guys. Has anyone had trouble with their engine room hatch hinge pin backing out? If so, how did you get it back in? There is limited space to pound on it to push it back in...
Let me know
ThanksView attachment 118540 View attachment 118541

View attachment 118919 I think a tool like this or piece of metal would get the job done and give you the space you need to hammer on the other end of the crowbar
