Have any of you guys replaced the transom door, Perko barrel latch with anything better like the southco ones they use on the newer models? Mine makes an annoying rattle in seas and looks like crap. Wanted to see if there are any other options. Thanks

Take one of the middle screws out the piano hinges put a washer on the screw and reinstall it. It will make it so you have to apply a slight amount of pressure to get the door to close enough to latch. This will solve your problem. Worked for me.

Yes, it will cause the head of screw to contact the other side of the piano hinge causing just enough bind that you'll have to apply slight pressure to get it to close all the way.

Does anyone have a part number and/or recommendation for a raw seawater pump for a 2003 380 Dancer with 8.1's? It has a pressure sensor and it's not plastic. Thanks in advance.

Hey Jims,
On my 2006 380 I needed to lower the tv console above the galley, then remove the square ceiling panel where the TV is stored. This gave me access to the wiper motor. Not sure if your boat has the same set up.

Does anyone know what changes were made to the 380 that caused the dry weight to increase from 18300 to 20000 in the 2003 and 2004 models? Not seeing anything obvious. Also, is the 380 hull cored below the waterline (or at all)? Thinking that the next boat may be a 380. Do the 8.1's have enough power to make these viable as gassers?

Just curious... are you sure the motor is bad? These behave strangely when the bronze bushings on the shaft wear out... easy to replace.

I've purchased two NOS systems monitors over the past 4 years and both had the LCD display fail so you only see part of the text. Anyone know of an upgrade or alas, a source for yet another replacement?

Im really not sure... when I hit the button the wiper moves about 6 inches and stops. Hit button again and nothing happens.
