Official 60 SR600 resto w/pics

"most unique" ...what does it mean??? :smt013 You should have got a prize for the restoration only!

Anyway, you should be proud of your vintage beauty and thak you for the report!
I call it second place and am quite happy with that
I think I may have the bragging rights to "the most photographed Sea Ray on the planet" for the last 2 days

Reminded me of the old car show days
sometimes you just get tired of answering the same questions
so you just go ride on boats

BTW...it WILL be featured in an upcoming Sea Ray Living magazine and Soundings magazine
not heard when though.

Yep - ride on "classic" boats and end up doing the same thing when your docked. :smt101

Looking forward to the articles.

I loved seeing your boat in person after having followed its progress over this thread. I hated that I did not get to meet you this weekend. I saw you as you were boarding one of the boats for a cruise though but missed talking to you.

I missed this thread over a busy summer. A great read and a great job. Congratulations on a job well done!

I had to catch up on this thread today after seeing the fruits of your labor on another thread. A truly amazing job of restoration that you can be proud of for years to come. Too bad the boat turned out to be too small for you to sit comfortably. Thanks for sharing all these months your step by step progress!

Thank you and glad you enjoyed the process
it's not that I can't sit in it so much...it's that I can't get in and out
people must have been short in 1960

this would be my final installment .....
the 600 left for her new home in Milwaulkee a few minutes ago
I have mixed feelings on the matter of her leaving...sad that I never got to use her but
hopefully the new owner will get years of enjoyment out of the old girl.
and he said he was going to join up here and buy a CSR burgee to flap on the flag pole.
hopefully he may continue this thread from the water in the summer.

my last view....

Do you know which inland lake she will be used on or out on the big puddle?

Those of us in the Milwauker srea will have to keep an eyr open for her and properly report sighting to CSR.

I like the thought of being steps closer to your 340!

Condolences and congrats to you, Jim. On to the next chapter....
