That's just it. Covid is the only serious illness I know that there is no treatment prescribed after infection is confirmed. Just go home and wait. That just seems stupid to me. Of course, surprise, surprise -- phizer and merck have pills in development.

@jmauld, no their aren't three vaccines for that. The covid vax doesn't work! I know of MANY who were fully vaccinated and still got sick. Many are even dying. If you got COVID and beat it, Why the F would you get the vaccine???

Regardless, when have you EVER been sick, diagnosed with something and the Dr tells you just go home and rest!?

Correct. I think this is the only "approved" treatment you can get before you're on your deathbed, unless you find a Dr who will give you ivermectin / HCQ....

I'd really like to know what the approved treatment for COVID is, aside from MABs (which you have to qualify for). There is no treatment, it's go home and wait. Again - unless you have a Dr willing to prescribe what works (and goes against the approved treatment regimen by .gov)...

The real problem especially for most of us that are not hypochondriacs and don't assume we have covid just because we have a runny nose is we will first treat as a common cold or flu with bed rest and fluids and OTC symptom relievers. I would have to be in pretty bad shape to resort to heading to the hospital even if I took a covid test and showed positive. By then it would be too late for the infusion treatment. I suppose that if I were older and had serious comorbidities then I would seek professional help sooner. I don't know what the answer is, I am glad that western medicine is working to come up with the best remedies. I really just wish someone had the power or the balls to bring those responsible for this scurge to account for it with such consequences that it would keep it from happening again. It seems that those that are in the position to sanction those responsible are reaping personal reward enough to not want to rock the boat.

GF works for Abbott. We have boxes and boxes of the 15 minute test. I've had a bad cold for 5+ days now (first one in 2 years) since visiting with family over Thanksgiving (lots of little kiddos running around coughing/sneezing). Took the test, negative. It does not test for variants and I doubt they can keep up enough so it ever will.

Keep in mind, tests are only good for that instant. My wife tested negative on a home test before going to a 4 day event and became ill at the event. Tested positive when she got home. The damn 4 year old that got us sick...only had a runny nose...

I NEVER get sick. The last time was 3 years ago with strep. The only person I personally know who had a very tough time with COVID was my brother.

My wife (had the same treatment as I did), was down for 3 days, sleeping a lot. Day 5 she cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner. That entire time, I was perfectly fine, just a slight fever. By the next week, I had pneumonia....and was down for a few days but am back up kicking. So, F China and F those that are withholding treatments. We know of a few people who died while we were sick, who didn't have the same treatments (or pulse oximeters) like we did.

100% agreed. It's like getting tested negative for STDs, tell a girl "I'm good", though you played around that night, then saw her the next day.

I never took a test (well, I did months ago before a work event). I don't need a test to tell me I'm sick. If I'm sick, I just want to get better...regardless of what I am sick with!

Dr Zelenko (and others) all say to treat like the patient is positive while waiting on a positive test result. What does that tell you about waiting to treat?

You don’t even see the foolishness in your argument. You say the vaccine is bad and you won’t put that into your body, yet here you are begging for a ‘treatment’. A treatment for what you also claim is just a cold or the flu. The vaccine is a treatment. You just refuse to use it, because you know someone. Regardless whatever does get approve, if it’s not on fox’s approval list will get disregarded by you anyway. Jesus Christ man, pick an argument and stick with it.

I'm not begging for anything. There are plenty of very successful treatments. Why are they not given to the masses when you test positive? Why is .gov and the media suppressing them? That right there, is the conspiracy.

I am asking you again, what the approved treatment is, because there is none. It is go home and rest. What "treatment" were you given when you tested positive for covid?

A vaccine is not a treatment. Let me help you with the definition of treatment. It is not something you take before you are ill.

That said, why on earth would I take a vaccine for something I now have antibodies for (and before that, why the F would you take a vaccine for a virus with a 99% survival rate).

And you keep mentioning this vaccine, that's failing....

Imagine releasing a product that doesn't properly do what you promised it would do...

and then blaming the malfunction on people who did not purchase said product...

whilst telling those who bought it that they must buy it again every few months...
