Thanks, nothing happens and there are no noises as if a pump or motor is activated.

Thanks, I'll look for that setupIn some installations there is a hot wire directly from the battery to the pump and it also supplies power to the trim switch.
Fuse is my next move, thanksPress the square "trailer" button - do you hear a noise?
Check for V at the trim pump's fuse - check both sides (large gauge wires). Check the inline fuse (small gauge wire).
I think the starter is bad. I hear it clicking. I jumped the slave solenoid and got the same noise. What else doesn't work? Engine start?
Thanks for the tip I didnt know to lower before starting. I have the Mercruiser 28 service manual for my engine and the Bravo No. 28 outdrive manual as well. I think I'll replace the two solenoids first and then change the pump if necessaryIf referring to the engine starter, you have to figure out your outdrive trim issue first. Starting the engine with the drive fully trimmed in the up position can cause problems with the U joint and gimbal assembly. Do you have a service manual?
Try this link. Lots of diagnostic information.
service manual 5&57.pdf (atlanticmobilemarine.com)
Will want to verify your serial number but the Bravo manual you will likely need for your outdrive stuff is Mercruiser Service Manual Number 28. It covers all the Bravo's

Does the engine start Roger? What else doesn't work? Engine start?
NoDoes the engine start Roger?
A Bolt holding three black wires were loose. I tightened bolt but I still had to jump the solenoid to get the outdrive to drop down. The up/down switch on the throttle still dosen't work. I wanted to see if I could get the engine to crank because before all I heard was clicking sound. After tightening the bolt for the black wires I now hear a spinning sound but engine is not cranking.Step 1
Test for power and ground at the pump wire harness
step 2
Test the solenoids by Hard wiring to the battery.
Step 3
Post results here.
