I’ve never had any foaming issues on either boat I’ve put this on.
I am a dealer for Infinity and have done about 70 boats in it. I have received just a few questions about the bubbles but no one has considered it a deal breaker.
My boat was the first I did 4 seasons ago as a "tester" and the Infinity looks like the day I put it in.
I'm far more pissed off about the terse and flip response from the manufacturers rep than the foaming.. I've learned to deal with the shitty product, the cu=itty customer service in an entirely different subject. moving on
Awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing.
Granted I didn't spend any money on this product. But my unasked for $.02 is that I thought the manufacturers rep thoroughly explained what it was, how to resolve it as it occurs and how to expedite the process of having it not happen going forward. God bless internet forums, text messages and emails for limiting our ability to read the "tone" of a message except for what we ourselves interject into them.
It looks like you have a nice product, if I ever have a boat worthy of the investment I will consider your wares. Perhaps you should consider a product disclaimer at shipping that it on occasion may occur, what it is, and how to rectify it. Out of curiousity, would flushing the product with water prior to final install rectify this? perhaps with a garden hose or pressure washer on low?
Can you share some pictures? Thanks.
Do you have the template for a 50/52 Searay Sedan?
I’m not an installer. I installed this on 2 of my own boats. My last boat, a Chaparral 270; and my current boat, a Meridian 391.
Sorry, I didn't look close enough the first time. Pics look great! I'm going to order some samples. What color is on your boat? I assume this foaming thing is an anomaly? Thanks in advance.
I got mine from here..... https://www.commercialmatsandrubber.com/boat-rv-flooring/infinity-fabrics-marine-rv-flooring/
they had a great summer sale last year.
I have the Teak Supreme Solids line. I don’t recall the exact color.....I think it was ash. I have not experienced this foaming thing on either of my boats I’ve had it on. Even if I did.....it wouldn’t sway me off this product. We absolutely love it. Ours does snap in and out also.
This looks great and we are looking for something for our 48 Sundancer now. I can't find any info on your site about heat. Does this product get hot in the sun? Thanks for any info
We have a tan color, light tan actually. And, it becomes un-walkable barefoot in the Pennsylvania summer sunshine for any area in direct sunlight.
That settles it. Going with same seadek we had in our last boat. No heat issues at all
