How in the heck do you remove those end caps without destroying them? I'm 0/1 right now...

Usually just cut the ty-wrap , slide the boot back, and remove the wire

Well, must be the cold temps I'm working in and stiff plastic.
I could not slide those boots back. Wouldn't lift off of the terminal without severe deformation and tearing.
