It may depend on which year 260DA you have (you didn't mention), but it could be 8g or maybe 10g. But your manual will tell you and so will the wire - Sea Ray prints that on the wires. However, at only 20CM... either relocate the fuse panel to a better spot or follow the wire back in the rigging - there has got to be 20cm of pay somewhere. Both of those options are better than adding a connector.
It’s a good idea - will have a go. I thought perhaps the wires were cable-tied all the way along and I’d have to undo / redo that to pull through some slack. Will have a look. My 260 is a 2006 model. Whereabouts is the wire gauge marked? Thanks for your help! Charlie.
The wiring is done pretty tight - but there's gotta be 20CM of slack in there somewhere that's not too far away.
