Looking for some methods to get rid of the rust/clean up the nuts and bolts and stop it form coming back. I search around CSR and found some preventive stuff people talk about like Boeshield, Corrosion X, and WD-40.
My plan was to wire brush them the best that I can to remove the rust, but what can be used to spray/bush on to spot that are not removed by the wire brush or can't be reach well enough? I am not sure about using Rust Free Corrosion Remover, because of the cautions on their web site. Anyone use this product or recommend another one?
After a good cleaning the part that were black I was going to repaint. Should so type of primer be used first?
For the other non-painted surfaces I take it that you would then just spray something like Boeshield or Corrosion X on them.
When something like Boeshield or Corrosion X was sprayed on painted surfaces what is used to clean the surface if it need to be touched up with paint?
