So we took delivery of our 2007 Sundancer 44DA at the end of last season and have been doing standard projects since then. The boat went from saltwater to fresh. We are having trouble removing saltwater damage from the windshield, however. We’ve tried vinegar and Dawn (full strength), vinegar, and baking soda (full strength) with the hand buffer, and CLR, and not one thing has made a dent in the stains. Help! What can we do??

I can only imagine how frustrating that must be as I've never heard of white vinegar not working before. They say this works, and it's on the internet so it must be true...

Best of luck to you

A1 Hardwater stain remover with a blue glass polishing disc.

Business stays like this, I will even drive out and do it Stop with the CLR on the windshield glass. It damages the sealer on the glass

I did our 450 years ago as it was heavily spotted and faced the sun so it was really baked on the glass. You should use a bronze wool pad with a pink polish ( trying to remember the name )something like pro polish. It worked fantastic and our 16 year old boats glass was perfect. The bronze pads do not drop shavings or particles that rust. Hope this helps and take your time with it.
