Sarah Palin

. However the post bout his closet abortions etc was pure rhetoric and wrong, and has nothing to do with his current ineptitude.
.[/quote]

It has everything to do with him this is what he fought for in Illinois. Oh yea he did help get the motor voter law passed so Illegal’s could sign up to vote

So then you think we should get the finest lawyers for the people that are trying to kill us and read them their rights on the battle field right:smt021

Way to extrapolate to an asinine finality. You should be Palin's campaign manager.

When a country who pride sitself on justice and due process strays away from that in our system of law, just so people like you can feel good about immediate justice out of anger, then we are in more trouble than a want-to-be president reads crib notes form her hand on a subject she should be well versed in.

I agree, we allowed this menace to the world to lawyer up, but unfortunately, our less than perfect rules allowed this to happen, not a single person deciding it. To blame Obama is pure rhetoric.

Wow.

I totally agree, Obama is riding on the same short bus to nowhere, and I have conceded this, whereas I was defending him in the beginning of his term and pleading to give him a chance, in life and on this forum. Ill admit I was wrong on Obama, and it is becoming increasingly clear that we have the wrong man in office. So, yes, I do change my mind and call them as I see them. However the post bout his closet abortions etc was pure rhetoric and wrong, and has nothing to do with his current ineptitude.

With Palin, I am continually vindicated in my mind time and time again with my assessment of her ability to run this country. So, I do believe I am fair, for the most part and willing to change when time has allowed me to see what others may be speaking about, and Ill admit when wrong. Sorry, Palin, imo, and no, I dont see this changing, is a very very poor choice for anything other than a Fox news associate.

Fair enough. Understand that I too am open to options. I just don't see much to cheer about in the GOP. For me, Palin (for now) is the best of what appears to be a pretty limited group of choices. Perhaps there will be some improvements. I supported Steve Forbes, so I probably cannot be trusted for my political acumen.

I would say Forbes is is decent choice and I would give him a chance if he was elected into office. Who is to say what a wild card like Forbes would do in office? Perhaps it's time for a businessman with some brains and from what I see, ethics to run the business of government. I all for changing it up from dem/pub for a while.

I have to agree I think the biggest problem with Washington is that there are to many Lawyers, and we all know that lawyers make a living by lying and they make laws to advance their profession. The person doesn’t have to be Republican or Democrat just some one that his only agenda is to make this country better and care about the people and not corporations or special interest groups.

In illinois the Govenors serve 2 terms one in Office and one in Jail.

I said I was not going to post anything else here but I do want to share this email I just got.Its a bit lenghty but it does explain my point very well.

nothing like pulling up an old thread to defend you man! (and first lady)

the only thing that is BS is that Hillary and Laura has as many. What I want to know is how they could only pay $35K for salary. Is that person on welfare also?

But then the Obama’s are Elitist aren’t they? Just lookin out for the folks. Oh but they need to have a little more Pie.

funny according to your link that that rumor was started by a democratic PAC that opposed then Senator Obama.

I do hate how people post and send these type of things out without any thought or checking but lets not prentend that only conservatives do it.

I didn't say conservatives invented it, just that it's not true. And believe me, I have no visions that only conservatives would resort to such trash - both sides are EQUALLY shameful in their tactics. I can't control what other people are willing to do. But I can control what I do. And my point is, you won't see me posting hysterical lies and propaganda to try and inflame the other side and rally the "too lazy to check any facts" crowd over to my side of the argument. Because all that does is raise tempers and lower the value of any debate. In fact it isn't even debate at that point, it's just a big 'ole mud-slinging waste of time...

so it not true that Barack Obama is the mastermind of Al-Quedia?

I thought that was George Bush, but Obama could be.. He’s not a US citizen ya know.

Now maybe you can prove to us how adding 30,000,000 people to Obama Care is going to save the country money. Oh yea I forgot the Government under NoBomba is running so efficient!:smt043:smt043:smt043:smt043
