Sure could use some plumbing advice on my 2006 Sea Ray Amberjack
Bathroom faucet is running, and searay parts tells me this spigot series is discontinued. Anyone have any ideas as to where I can get the cartridges or the cartridge parts? Thanks Ray

Sea Ray does not manufacture plumbing parts. I would suggest taking the faucet to a reputable plumbing supply house in your area and if they do not have the parts, then replace it.

Most likely you can (first) shut the water off, take the top apart and go to Home Depot. You should be able to get the parts there.

Can you make out the manufacturer? That's helpful. Take the cartridge out and go to a plumbing supply place - you know, the kind with a big counter you sit at a stool in front of and wait for some guy to nod at you as if to say, "what do you want." Show that guy the cartridge and tell him you need one just like it.

If you can make out the brand, you can call the manufacturer (Groh, Delta, etc.) and tell them the cartridge is leaking. Many have lifetime warranties so they may send you one gratis.

Second the Home depot suggest. I had probs with the Galley sink / faucet, removed the valve (hot side) found the right part there. However!????? it was backwards?!?! Hot and cold turn in opposite directions on ours?!? so I had to get a cold labeled one to function same as the original. Also our Head faucet was replaced under our extended warranty through the dealer we bought boat from, not an original Sea Ray OEM part but still very nice (see link)

When a Sea Ray dealer tells you discontinued part, N/A, or obsolete it usually just means that Sea Ray no longer uses that item in current production or the dealer just doesn't want to mess with a repair part of low value. Sea Ray is a manufacturer and they do not usually stock repair parts. they are usually very good in giving you enough help that you can track down the parts you need from normal parts sources.

My boat is a '96 and for plumbing needs I've found nearly everything I have needed from RV sources or, as Rick says, from a very good local plumbing supply house.

I just replaced the aerator on the faucet in our main head. Unscrewed the old one and took it with me to Home Depot & got a replacement for $4....
