Sirrus weather issues

Guys,
Have had the sirrus weather module for a long time . Last 2 years its started to have some issues. It will not always show rain. Doesn't matter if I reboot or not . Killed power to the module etc. Still not right. Also I have the water temps display turned on ( I don't recall the " TERM " used ) that only works up to about jersey. Long island and above never fills in. Its just white . So the other day I finally was able to see the rain for about 15 mins . Then when it updated it went away. I put the map in motion ( replay or whatever ever its called ) and its gone. Data can not be displayed. Any thoughts ? The Weather module is from 2006.

I just got a notice in today's mail from Sirius indicating that my new Raymarine SR150 is in need of a software update (available through Raymarine) to clear up two issues that users have been experiencing. The first relates to the display of ligthning strikes and the second refers to issues around properly displaying NowRad (which is your rain display). Perhaps this also a problem with whatever receiver you are using? It is called Software Patch Version 20130523 for the Raymarine fix.

Rob,

Have you tried calling the SW tech support to resend the signal? Sometimes I've heard it gets lost. I would start with them to make sure you have good signal and then, as Jeff said, move on to the unit. I would check connections between antenna, MFD and SR50 or 100, whichever you have.
