I've launched at Twenty-Five mile campground and also at Manson. If you're headed to Stehekin, Twenty Five mile campground is a lot shorter.

We launch at Old Mill Bay in Manson.
Twenty Five Mile is too tight for my boat.
This will be about the sixth time to Stehekin for us.

After being 100 on the 4th, yesterday and today were in the high 70's, and low 80's, ad in the 2.5" rain we had last night, it is a welcome break from the heat dome

Humidity here terrible. Took black powder pistols to range this morning. The humidity caused powder fouling so bad, after 2 cylinders, 12 shots I had to disassemble and clean, finally gave up. Those pistols did not want to be out in this humidity and let me know it.
They do talk to you if you listen.

We are hot, 92, and humid, 72%, as well. My daughter and her boyfriend (soon to be SIL) are in Newport News VA (close to you PL) 87 but 80%. I personally love it. I miss Guam , down to the boat tomorrow to work on the head system. Should be fun.

Yep, Tidewater area, it aint the heat its the humidity. Brutal. Only mid 80s which is nothing. All the water around here makes for great boating, but has a downside. I wouldn’t leave it for Bezos money.

Looks like the opposite of a draught. So is that a human induced rain event.

Same here. Haven’t moved boat in 2 weeks and with forecast it will be at least another week.

We've had "Florida" weather over the last few days. Boy do I miss it. Lows about 70° and highs pushing 90° with some thunderstorms. Today is a get a couple of projects done at the house because it's supposed to rain off and on most of the day. Finally getting around to installing a garage door opener on the 3rd door in the garage. My main one crapped out last week so I bought 2 Chamberlains.

Indoor day around here. Had nephew and his family out on the boat before the storms hit yesterday. Not going to bother to head out to the marina today. Maybe work on the garage ceiling some more. The original taping is coming apart.
