So you got yourself COVID vaccine. Think you can’t get COVID? Think again.

@firecadet613, @El Capitan and your other anti-vax scardy cats, I did a little research for you today… these are still available when your little night lights burn out. Better buy some now so you don’t have scary nights in case of a burnout!!

What a warped mind to conclude that those that believe in their God given immune systems to face the virus are somehow afraid. It seems completely backwards to me. The fearful are those that were whining to get vaccinated and asking those that didn’t want the vaccine to step aside so they could get their shots sooner and be safe. It is in your posts from a year ago, you little scared boy, keep at it, I know it makes you feel better about your choices to denigrate others…

Mike I'd say these sum it up well...

The mandate is gone, so y'all have fun here!

The irony is, you just spewed a response with acronyms I don’t know, or care to know. You got Covid and Covid/Pneumonia and all I got was 2 days of feeing tired, not a sniffle and certainly no attack on my lungs like you had.

Almost forgot to reply to @Dani-Lu!

So you took an EUA jab (Emergency Use Authorization), have no idea what VAERS is (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System - all over the news btw) and had next to no symptoms but you had covid?! Why on earth would you waste time with a test?! Or get the vax if it's just an EUA....

Sounds like you had a false positive on your test...

For what it's worth, I never tested. But it's very obvious most in this thread would be one of those waiting hours to take a covid test...o_Oo_O

Just sayin.... even strep throat can cause pneumonia! My issue is I can't sit still or chill..allowing my body a chance to recover.

I didn’t want to visit my dad and risk infecting him and the other elderly residents in his assisted living memory care facility. Glad I chose to be safe rather than sorry.

People have gotten pneumonia long before covid popped up...and many are hospitalized for it and take weeks to recover.

I hope you wore a N95 or KN95 mask... you can still show up negative on a test and have the vid, just not enough virus in your system (happened to my wife).

Seems Johns Hopkins hospital knows more than you who would have thought that.
There is a Covid pneumonia. I have a friend 41 years old she is at day 6 in an ICU in Michigan with Covid Pneumonia and now has heart issues because of covid. She is no longer an antivaxer.

I go and visit my dad every 4 days after a viral infection put him in hospital in Oct he was transfered to a hospital assisted living he really doesn't like being in lockdown but it's to protect them. I get to put on a N95 mask gown, gloves and a shield. I don't mind at all, he is adjusting now.

@Iprof @Iprof @Iprof... so much wrong with this. First off, I hope your friend in the ICU pulls through and has a full recovery. I'm not sure how you can say she is now pro-covid vax. If she got it now (or anytime soon) it'd likely overload her system and kill her. And it's completely unknown if the vax would have kept her out of the ICU. I'm guessing she was completely healthy before covid?

As many have figured out, vaxxed or unvaxxed, covid is a roll of the dice. It is next to impossible to know how someone will do with covid.

Before the vax rollout, most cases were mild cases. The same is true after the vax. Vaxxed are still getting hospitalized, admitted to the ICU and dying from covid. Just like before the vax. People can say the vax is the holy grail all they want, but there is no proof. Before the vax, minimal cases were severe and after the vax they are still minimal overall.

Where did I say there wasn't a covid pneumonia? I simply said pneumonia has been around a long time and isn't solely caused by covid.

Zero long term effects here, I was back to 100% a month ago. No one I know has gotten over pneumonia or covid pneumonia that quickly....

Except...Real world results show consistently huge, order-of magnitude differences between the chances of hospitalization and death between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. This evidence proves that vaccinations are performing as intended. Even better, the gap between hospitalization and death rates appears to be widening over time.

After seeing first hand the number of unvaccinated in the ICU she realized that the vaccine actually does work at reducing your chances of ending up in the ICU. She was surprised at how over crowed the ICU was with Covid cases. And yes she is wishing she had been vaccinated and probably avoided the ICU also encouraging friends to get vaccinated. Her heart condition is the biggest concern right now, being treated for myocarditis.

You have to get off the pipe. You have lost your mind.

I feel your pain. Unfortunately at this point, I don’t think my day even knows I am his son.

Unfortunately that's a risk with the vax as well. It's rolling the dice whichever way you go. I'd be curious to know comobidities of those in the ICU, both vaxxed and unvaxxed.

I posted a graphic yesterday I saw on the news. In Indiana, ICUs are 85% of capacity. 50% not covid related, 35% covid cases (are they there due to covid or just pop positive on a test).

Old age is a privilege denied to many. My MIL passed a few years ago at 47, just didn't wake up one morning. Enjoy your time with him.

People don’t go to the ICU, with Covid, unless they are very ill!

Wow, thats young - sorry to hear that. I visit him often, its just tough to see him this way.

I went through 2 months of him not knowing who I was or even his name. He is a lit better but still has a lot of memory lapses.

Glad he is a little better. Unfortunately, my dad has dementia, probably Alzheimers, so this is a one way trip for us.
Alright, sleep time for me. I have to wake up at 6:30, head to Key Largo and drive a boat north to Fort Lauderdale. Goodnight gentlemen.

I guess the CEO of Moderna, Stephane Bance sold about $400m in stock over the last couple of weeks and shut down his Twitter feed. It’s probably nothing.;) I wonder if any of our politicians did the same?
