So you got yourself COVID vaccine. Think you can’t get COVID? Think again.

Amazing how just over 18 months ago, no one had heard of COVID and now it's all you hear about...

@OllieC isn't it amazing what happens when you put a business man vs politician in the Oval Office?
Yep. Politicians are all about studying, commissions and the like. All activity without accomplishment. Business men look to get things done on imperfect information. Unfortunately people went bat chit crazy.

So! When is the new vax for the Delta Variant going to be invented? Whats the over/under on the dose count?

On internet today some northern states and some provinces want border open to full vaccinated. In the US are you required by law to produce a vaccination certificate. In Canada areas will only let you enter if you do not produce a vaccination certificate.

I got the shot and love it. I can hold my iPhone against my arm and it’s charged in 2 mins. I can anchor out all weekend and touch the batts and get full charge. No gen needed. Love the chip / technology.
When i put on my tin foil hat i can get UHF stations. Whats not to love.

Went to a gas station across the border in Ohio just now. Been there several times. When this all started there were signs up that you were not allowed in the store without a mask and to go to the window to pay. A few months ago these signs were gone. Tonight they are back. Masks required unless fully vaccinated. Here we go again.

I had to get a COVID test the other day despite being fully vaxed. Doc said the health department is "insisting" that docs instruct their patients to get tested if they have even one symptom that could be a COVID symptom, no matter how mild, due to the India (My word, not hers. Side note: WTF is up with no longer being able to refer to things by the region they originated? China virus, UK variant, India variant. I heard today that we can't call Asian carp Asian carp anymore. We now have a new, less offensive name so no one's little feelings get hurt. Bunch of pu$$ies.) variant. I told her I didn't have COVID, just strep throat. I've had it so many times, I know it when I see it. So we agreed that she would prescribe an antibiotic for me and I would get tested. Of course, I don't have COVID but I do have strep.

I heard there’s a nationwide movement to rewrite the history books to remove any reference of the Spanish Flu from 1918 and rename it something less offensive to Spanish people.

Asian carp are about to get renamed as well.

Absolutely nuts.

Just got back from the Dr. Nurse said she was not getting the vaccine. Said they have seen too many patients with strokes and liver issues a couple of months after getting the vaccine. But the Dr. told me I should get it....lol

That post is only about a month old. There’s no additional “argument” for the news to make a story out of, which is why it’s no longer talked about in the news.

Also keep in mind that the mortality rate is lowered by the existence of a vaccine. You guys like to gloss over the efforts of others while making your argument.

Everyone knows mortality rates were hyped. Hyped by the entire medical community for federal subsidies for every COVID patient. See hospital reimbursement for every intubation and ventilator. For every inpatient death. Not everyone who died with COVID died FROM COVID.

State department’s of health for budgetary funding for all kinds of crap. I personally sat in several state department of health meetings.

The CDC is my customer. Some folks there are genuinely nice people but the administration are a bunch of morons and politicians.

And da big one...big Pharma. Guess what the single dose of Hydroxychloroquine is?

Mic drop!

But they cured flu related deaths

Out here in Ca we have some of the highest vaccination rates and were on the path to having the lowest Covid infection cases in the country. We can debate the draconian methods and ham fisted public policies that were imposed to get us here but it is what it is. Now after the re-opening we all started ditching the masks but now the infection rates are back on the rise we are seeing jurisdictions require mask use while indoors regardless of vaccination status. It is hard for me to understand at this point the hesitancy for getting vaccinated. I don't want to denigrate those that have questions but it seems by now, with very little evidence of adverse side affects, that the majority of people have decided that there is more benefit to inoculation as opposed to the risks of remaining un vaccinated. If only to avoid the head aches of having to maintain distance and mask up and what ever else we modified in our everyday lives to avoid the scourge, I just think people should consider it a civic duty. I am a simple guy and am all about protection of liberty and rugged individualism but we live in a society that only works when the masses comply with basic behaviors. I am getting impatient with the hard core anti vaxers that worry about the myriad of ridiculous superstitions about the vaccinations that are circulating. These very people think nothing of taking a pill for every thing from headaches to their ED that only exist due to miracle of modern medicine as do the vaccines against the Covid. I wasn't the first in line and granted, we don't have ten years of experience with the vaccines to know how they will affect us but it is clear that it does the job and is in large part responsible for the world economies to begin clawing back from the obis. I think those that remain stuck on not getting vaccinated will rightfully be blamed for allowing the Delta Variant to spread and allow this pandemic to continue giving the left that much more encouragement to spend us into ruin!
Carpe Diem

Your cases are negligible to what they where. It's panic for panic sake.

We are all future corpses. Not getting vaccinated may just get a few there quicker. Or getting vaccinated may get you there in 10 years. One day i expect there will be a class action law suite against hand sanitizers. Dammed if you do dammed if you do not. The Spanish Flu diminished after a year and a half. Covid is diminishing after a year and a half. Was it vaccines or the virus just going away. It has been very profitable if you invested with the correct drug company a year ago.

Go ahead and stock up on Hydroxychloroquine. I'm sure it will do exactly what you expect it will, LOL.
You guys that think a global pandemic and a global response is being faked because of US political polarization are really "out there". But its funny to listen to. Like listening to Gary Busey or Randy Quaid talking about their theories on things.

At this point I think that its been long enough that the health insurance companies should now say that they won't fund COVID treatment for anyone that is not vaccinated. Give a deadline - maybe two months from now. Make people put their own money where their mouth is. And if you think COVID is nothing to worry about, you have nothing to worry about.
