I looked it up. He actually said injecting disinfectant. Which I don’t hold against him. He’s a business man and this isn’t really his specialty. But he is on video saying that. Easy for things to be taken out of context.

My own eyes and ears. Lightwieght and Fat boy closed the parks, beaches and such regardless of whether you where alone or in a group. I was run out from the state park where my boat was stored -- just me and not anther sole in sight.

Nice try at deflection though.
 
Beaches were closed to stop tourist from traveling. End of story.

Our local authoritarian government banned access to private docks. That lasted about a week.

Yes it's on video, he wasn't making a statement/recommendation...he was speaking directly to Fauci and Brix asking them questions, he asked 'is there a way to do something like that'...to disinfect.

This is right up there with Trump told people to drink fish tank cleaner, lots of idiots spewing all this BS.

I have helped the mechanics solve several problems on issues I had no particular expertise in by asking what some may think are stupid questions. Sometimes those stupid questions make the experts think.

Brainstorming is great, and it does frequently lead to innovation. But, there's a time and place for it, certainly not on national television. President Trump was notorious for not spending time with the staff working the covid problem, yet still wanting to appear for the daily briefings without prep. I know for a fact that President Trump walked into the briefing from the head of DHS S&T without having seen the materials to be briefed, winged it, which led to the debacle. BTW, Dr. Fauci wasn't there. I'd like to think he might have saved the President from himself if he were.

To be serious for a second. It is possible to be critical of someone and still be supportive. Trump did a good job on a lot of issues. But he would’ve been better served hiring someone else to publicly speak for him and deleting his Twitter account.

You’re 100% right there Ollie... I know it’s weird. I plugged my nose and voted for the daily brain-farter in 2016 and 2020 both mainly because I couldn’t bring myself to vote for Clinton or Biden or any other dem.
 
Well we have something in common because I voted against Clinton in 2016, not necessarily for Trump. I caucused for Cruz actually. I was extremely disappointed in Trump signing the Schumer $1.2t omnibus bill after his 1st 6 months in office. Other than that, I was extremely surprised how well he did getting America back on its feet. Then I find myself defending the guy because of all the Pravda, nonsense and lies being constantly repeated. So here we are today - Covid forever.
 
Amazing how just over 18 months ago, no one had heard of COVID and now it's all you hear about...
