You need to get out some paper and pencil....
It could be that even more than half are below average.
When I see new Drs or nurses a few times I've asked them if they were an A student or bought the answers to the tests, just joking with them. I've never got a laugh from any of them. The ones that answered just said 'I passed'.
Very much appreciated.... I screwup spelling as well ...please keep an eye out for that too.... I have always been a below average spellerI was simply pointing out the error in the vocabulary.
Both you guys need to lighten up... and you have no excuse fan you should be in Florida
Okay ...cheese whining Wisconsin....what’s the end game here scooper ?Funny comment to make here, as there’s not enough cheese in all of Wisconsin to go with all the whining going on above in this thread!
Neither of those studies looked at treatment with either substance -- ie; treatment that keeps one out of the hospital and on to recovery on their own.Early treatments have certainly been studied and numerous more are in progress. Here's one of many done on Hydroxychloroquine:
A Randomized Trial of Hydroxychloroquine as Postexposure Prophylaxis for Covid-19
"After high-risk or moderate-risk exposure to Covid-19, hydroxychloroquine did not prevent illness compatible with Covid-19 or confirmed infection when used as postexposure prophylaxis within 4 days after exposure."

Verdict is mixed on Vitamin D but study is ongoing:
COVID-19: What role does vitamin D play?
"But does vitamin D have a part to play in COVID-19? By now, a number of studies have looked for links between the vitamin and the condition, and their findings have conflicted."

Agree the doctors shouldn't make policy and don't see evidence they've been doing so, just providing professional advice, not always taken by policy makers.

I'm not entirely sure what your sentence about the studies means. It seems obvious to me, that, if Hydroxychloroquine given at exposure doesn't help, it can't take on the role you seem to want it to take. But, as I said, there are numerous other studies that looked at almost every possible angle you can go look at.Neither of those studies looked at treatment with either substance -- ie; treatment that keeps one out of the hospital and on to recovery on their own.
If they don't make policy, then what does "listen to the scientists" mean? Guys like Fauci have been anointed Pope -- the media hangs on his every word.
