Starboard intake cover 340 Sundancer

Hi,
I need help locating 1689286, BOX, DR/ABS 340DA-03 STBD VENT. Has anyone had this piece just fall off when running. My fell off and didn't notice until I got back to my slip. Is this common or just my luck? Thank you in advance for any help with this.

I've seen this problem discussed elsewhere on the site. Yes, apparently they are susceptible to simply falling off. They are also extremely difficult to find replacements for, which has actually made them a theft item. I've seen discussions of them being stolen off of boats at marinas.

These covers are glued in place and are subject to coming loose (as any attached item might) and should be inspected and if loose rebedded. Not sure if i would use 5200 but as you may want to remove in the future.

You will not find these available but we have talked with someone who may be producing them. Will know more soon.
