Today was a nice day in FL, so we went for a little drive on Merritt Island:

Looked very busy. Lots of cars. A brand new '40 DA in the canal dock...

Your boat was born at Merritt Island?! You sure about that? I thought they only made yachts there. Mine was born at Palm Coast.... about 150 miles north of there.

Hey, I've been wrong about many things before. I could have sworn I read Merritt Island in my info package (of course it isn't with me).

My serial is SERF9066b202, hull # 619. Maybe someone can check it?

Hockeytown is ok with me.

The boat does seem to handle very well in the ice and snow.

Gary's into the second box of wine tonight... ;)

Or a coffee mug.

Or just put a McDonalds straw in the top of the box if you're on your own for the night.

I'm pretty sure "F" is Detroit... At least I've heard "Detroit is F'd" many times.

That's Island Rhythm's birthplace as well. I'm assuming that it is no longer in operation?

I think the kid with the smoke is correct.

Mine is a SER"F" as well and I recall from doing my homework that this is the Merritt designation.

Now back to your regularly scheduled sipping.

SERF=Merrit Island Florida=solid bottom

Rumor has it they are building Bayliners there now.

Gary's been smoking too many caulk joints.

Well, the gentlemanly thing for Gary to do would be to trade me the 48DB for the 360DA... it seems only fair. I'll throw in some plastic wine glasses for him.
