Stuff I'm not putting back on the boat...

I think our biggest items removed last fall was unopened bags or boxes of various snacks and blocks of cheese. I also have too many cleaners and polishes that you never can seem to use in the direct sun anyway. We also need to do inventory when we leave on Sunday.

paper plates.... they seem to be stashed all over. Guests are kind enough to bring a package and then leave it stowed away for us...

I found two extra children I didn't know I had...

If they are 2 boys, can I scrounge them from you? This way I can change my name to Four Sons and really confuse everyone.

I’m guessing changing everything to six suns would be a hassle.

I think we're all on some odd internal clock together.... I came home today and as I pulled into the garage I took notice of the 3 large rubbermaid tubs in the corner.. Grabbed a beer ( shocking I know) and started figuring out what goes back to the boat. I posted last year how freaked out I was when I had to remove everything from the 250 dockside when we sold it, well,,,,,, none of that crap goes back... My God we packed it in, But the good news is the dock box from last year got much bigger since it doesn't have that Godd@#$m drop-in A/C:smt038:smt038 in it any longer

oh god do I hate that A/C!!! Could they make that thing any heavier or more awkward to handle?

I'm not bringing back that damn trampoline:

and who invited all those kids?

The thought of a boat without a coffee machine is frightening.
Why not one of those glass plunger press coffee makers? You can boil the water in the microwave or on the stove.

What about leftover BBQ'd Steak and Potatos. left in the microwave oven for over 4 weeks? :smt119 Thank God that the Mwave held the stench indide it!!! Stuff looked like a Science Experiment gone wrong! Bleech!!!!!

I've given up.....every time I try to lighten up, the admiral finds the space I've cleared and she puts twice as much back on. A new technique I'm going to try this year is to spread things out so the admiral "thinks" it's already full. Hmmmmm.....maybe some bags filled with packaging popcorn....yeah...that stuff's light...

Hey Tim....that one Lady needs her wine re-filled.....and some more air in the tube....

Why not just use real popcorn?? Dual purpose right?

That's my Admrial!:smt001

Hmmmm.....let's see here....."Your honor, my client wasn't making the defendant drink too much....and as to the low air and the tube sinking in 20 feet of water....all a misunderstanding...."

Dom, I like the way you think... when I get dragged into court, you'll be the first guy I call.

Aren't they good for swimming drinks out to the inflatables?
I guess they are good for something afterall.

<----- 2 Dock boxes and a storage unit at a self serve storage place across the street from the Marina. Although it also houses 2 golf carts during the summer, it still has alot of other stuff so my dock boxes remain neat. My Dad takes his golf cart home in the winter (he has a trailer also across from the Marina) I keep mine in storage and put the two Dock boxes in the storage unit. Beats doing the 2 hour beverly hillbilly trip twice a year!

I still have 6 totes and 2 boxes to sort out before heading back this year. When I cleaned out the boat last fall, I think I doubled our food supply at home! Not sure why we had so much on the boat, I guess we were ready for that week long trip on a moments notice without going shopping. Unfortunately when we switched marina's, the dock box had to come home because I have not found a place to put it yet and everything that was in it had to go on the boat.

Dockboxes not allowed at our marina.

We just cleaned out the boat since she is on the market. Oh my gosh, bags and bags of open chips/snacks, open salad dressing bottles, half full juice bottles, etc... I found tools I never knew I had, more paper napkins then a man needs for the rest of his life and, get this, I actually found a storage compartment I never knew we had. My guess is the previous owner did not know about it either as there was a brand new, still in the box, DVD player in it!

I also found a lot of things I could not remember where I "shoved" into over the years.

Festivus44, I like the pink "noodle" floaty think, as my Mrs likes to call it. Makes a great beer bong in a crunch too! We have 3-4 of those somewhere on the boat.
