Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but it looks like FP Marine is getting close to launching their replacement solution for the touchpad/EIM system that has plagued so many folks over recent years. Looks like a pretty slick solution as well using lighted toggles. They bill it as fairly plug and play, most importantly where it plugs into the original Searay Harness at the fore/aft EIMs. No pricing on the website yet, but I'm hopeful that this is a legitimate solution for those having trouble with the often hard to find EIM units.

Nice to see there is another option ... but I think they are quite ugly. I would think the flush mount stainless buttons would have given it a more modern look.

I would imagine they will put any switch you would like in them. as long as it fits.
 
I’m having this issue as we speak with my starboard touch pad on my 340. I’ll be ordering this system from FP marine and doing the install myself. We’ll see how easy/hard the job is
