As I have mentioned in a couple of other posts on the CSR forum, my young son Benjamin was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Well, one of the fine folks at Sea Ray in Sykes Creek sent me a PM to tell me that they were sending some gifts to him and were going to let SR Corporate know about him as well. So, in the last couple of days we have received packages for Ben from both Sykes Creek and Knoxville. They were full of SR things that Ben is going to really enjoy when he can get back out on the boat this summer. And they even sent a poster signed by the employees in Tennessee.

This was all just a very generous act on SR's part. We will always be loyal SR owners, I can tell you that! As the gentlemen from SR who initiated all of this originally communicated via PM and doesn't post much here, I wanted to respect his privacy and not mention his name. (I suspect that some of our more senior club members probably know him well). But I wanted to publicly say how truly thankful we are to him and the other folks at Sea Ray. The gifts have really brightened a couple of Ben's days here at Duke Hospital.

I hope that Ben and the rest of the family will be able to use the stuff very soon It is always great to hear a story like this and that there are people in this world that still go out of there way and doo things like this

I think that says a lot about the Sea Ray in these hard times, that they would take the time to send your son a gift. We should all strive to go the extra mile to brighten another's day, even when we are not having a the best of days ourself...

Actions speak volumes. Best to you, your family, and your son.

I'm a proud Sea Ray owner!

What a nice gesture, and I am sure no advertising opportunity was expected and that makes it very genuine. All the best with your trials and tribulations. Have fun with the new stuff Ben! :smt038

That's a great story....I wish Ben all the best too.

I'm a blood cancer survivor myself so I can say with certainty that there is hope! I know the road can be rough at times but keep your faith.

Good luck to you all.

Good luck again to Ben!

Great story and thank you for sharing. I'm glad to be part of the SR family. Best of luck to you Ben and hope you're back on water with your family.

All the best to your family and we certainly hope all will turn out well.

I think what SeaRay did was very upstanding thing. It is good to remember we all care for kids. They are a better company for it!
