My flight is 3 days away and I am already getting pissed off. Why ?
But then again airports hung onto CNN for ever

I'm looking at 15 hours in the air tonight to get back from overseas. But, don't screw around with it, the flight crews seem to have the drill down now and will pounce on violators. I agree the policy is past its usefulness. I could go with a policy that requires masks when the aircraft doors are open. Having 300 strangers breathe on me while getting to their seats doesn't seem like a good thing any more. Once the plane is running, the ventilation should protect almost everyone. But, if you're sitting near a superspreader, a mask on either of you isn't going to help.
Rub some vaseline on the top of your ears or get some of these:

You are absolutely correct, and I am sure you are a much more reasonable person than I. But I cannot explain the contempt I have for masks, I do not hear well, and I absolutely cannot understand someone wearing a muzzle. We went to a Chis Stapleton concert in Nashville, over 13 hr drive, and I was glad to drive it over going through the airport. Now we did break it up into two days on the way there, stayed the first night in Memphis, but straight through coming home. Also after going to Cozumel at least once a year for 20 years, we have given that up as well.
I applaud people who are more flexible than myself, but when it comes to masks, I am as rigid as they come.
 
I don’t know what I am worried about …these pics from an email this morning …these people all look like they are having fun wearing their cloth masks
