Dean we left the enclosure up for ELSA in Fla in June, it’s literally a days worth of work so I gambled and covered the helm where the $$ items are. Removed anything that could move and put all the covers on. Turns out to be just a rain event. Hope you guys fair well.

Plastic over dash, nice, great idea. Last summer at tiki bar we got caught in a torrential summer storm, all canvas off. Took a week before the gauges dried out and functioned again. Now i keep a blue tarp on board as a quick emergency cover.

I tried a lot of stuff back then but when i saw a buddy open the door at 60mph and try to bail out I said Oh Hell No to acid.

Seatow sent an email. Take picture, Dock Canvas and everything in the boat. Hope I won't have to use them. My pilings are 5.6 feet above normal high tide. Doubled ropes and fenders all over.

I think the biggest problem with this storm will be the full moon/high tides joined with the storm surge. Doesn’t have to be a direct ocean frontage…

Storm surge and other boats getting loose are the biggest concern. I hauled out this afternoon and am scheduled to go back in on Tuesday. Travelers will pay 50% of haul out and does not count as a claim.

Reporting 14 mph winds where I live on the North shore, and it’s mostly a rain event so far, we got drenched last night at Jones beach theatre during a 9/11 benefit concert I’m still wet this morning. Stay safe guys

It has been down graded now to a TS with the higher winds at Montauk reported around 70 mph. A non event for most of LI.

Heavy rains and strong winds but dealing with it in Boston. Now concerned the damn thing will swing back around and cause more headaches.....At some point I have to be heading back south, but not today or tomorrow, dang it
