Vent Window Actuator Issue

My vent window actuator has been hit and miss, but mostly hit. Today, I opened it and will not close. Pushing on it did not help. I have noticed when I push the button to open or close, other indicator lights on other switches on the dash will flicker. I know to check power to the actuator and likely needs a new one, but what is up with the flickering on the other switches? Ground issue?

Check your connections at the actuator. I found mine just butt connectors and no heat shrink, all corroded. Installed new ones with heat shrink and problem solved.

spray the SST rod... I did all the above ( wiring/ cleaned up and lubed) works great now

Not to steal @bbwhitejr thread, but...I noticed last weekend the rubber seal around mine is falling apart. Is this replaceable?

I bought a new actuator & switch. The switch fixed all of my problems & the actuator is sitting on my new parts shelve.

I ordered this from Flounder Pounder and it was the OEM part. Cut it to size, mitered the corners and came out perfect.....$41.00 total cost plus 45 min of my time.

I did this when I replaced the seal about 2 weeks ago. I will give it another shot though.

Before I pull it apart to check the wiring at the actuator, I will take a look at the switch as it is much easier to eliminate first. Then go to the actuator. I do think it is something electrical as when I make the switch in either direction, the indicator lights on some other switches are flickering....
