Ok we got a new boat this year (38' 1985 Egg Harbor) and it has 2 VHF radios
one on the bridge and one in the salon.
I crew we run with likes to use channel 10 but for some reason BOTH radios have noise on channel 10, ONLY channel 10, like the squelch was all the way up/down, all the other channels are fine
now here's the kicker. I bought a hand held and it to does the same thing until I walk away from the boat
Thoughts??

Since you mention it happens until you walk away, i assume that means it still happens with the engines off.

That means it is bad electronics generating radio noise. Start with turning off the battery charger, then any inverters, and see when the noise goes away. If still there, turn off breakers one by one while listening on your portable until the noise stops. That should get you pretty close to finding out what is causing it.
