A short while ago there was a thread on favorite boating adult beverages. It's amazing the number of people that will drink nothing but diet soda's, but then go buy that god-aweful margarita mix to make margarita's with. That mix has the same amount of sugar, if not more than a full octane soda. I love margs. Go buy some Minute Made light and use that with some lime juice.

But that is why I drink the diet soda ALL WEEK. . so I could drink those nasty margarita's ALL WEEKEND :)

Good point. I have a few of those vices I try to overcome with trips to the gym as well.

All that being said, there is nothing that ruins a good (aka expensive) tequila faster than a high fructose based corn syrup that costs 3 bucks....IMO
 
I have lost now 20 lbs in 2 months, without "suffering" and without losing all hopes of eating other stuff.

Exercising is the most important element. And it can be done easily in short spans.

Every morning when I get up, I do sit ups, crunches, light weights of 10 lbs in each hand (curls, shoulders, couple of other arm stuff) push ups and jumping jacks. Takes 15 minutes, tops.

Then 4 days out of the week, I do cardio in the evening. Trampoline, wind sprints, stair master. Takes about 25 minutes or so (longer on the tramp sometimes as I am practicing wakeboarding stuff and its fun!)

I eat right, changed from snacking on ice cream at night to fruits, no soda at all, lots of water.

It is easy to get in shape/be healthier if you just decide to do it.
 
The biggest way to lose weight is not going on a diet, but rather making a lifestyle change. I struggle with this myself, but it's the best way.
