We're Back! Just went into contract...

Congrats on the new ride. That pewter colored hull is so nice to look at. She does look lonely and wanting for the water while on the hard right now up on top of the hill!!

Congrats on the new ride! She is a beauty! Actual spring weather can't come soon enough! It's even cold down in South Georgia. Well, it is for us at least.

Well she's finally un-wrapped.

She gets wet on the 20th

I know where to find you now... jk... she looks great man, now lets get the weather to cooperate and we will be set...

Alex boat looks great.Should put something on side glass strut to hold plastic off of it so it doesn't burn the glass.

Alex - What kind of depth reading are you getting under your boat - I was up on Friday with the wind the water level looked scary low! Are the channel markers in out in the bay?

Friday we had 30". By Saturday it was 40" and this morning it's about normal. Actually feels a little higher than normal. Yes the channel markers are in.

Friday was definitely low but the guys said it had been blowing 30-40 WSW for 48 solid hours. As soon as it shifted out of the north the water came gushing back in. In all serious it was like a tide

Love that pewter color! I really wanted that when we were looking but couldn't find one in our price range.

A captain buddy of mine said the quality of the curtains now is such that the plastic things I put on the frame to protect the curtains aren't needed anymore. However, I still use them.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. Just glad to finally have her floating. Thanks for the tip on the plastic pieces for the glass. I know exactly what piece you are talking about.

I have used foam pipe insulation on the poles for my camper canvas for the last six years with no problem. Not only does it keep it from touching the isenglass, it also keeps the poles from chaffing it.

Interesting. I'll have to try this when I leave the glass up. The boat has a cockpit cover so that will be used 99% of the time when we are gone and the only the time the canvas will be up for any amount of time when we are there will be in inclement weather.
