Bud as a rule of thumb, but we like to make a drink we named ourselves,The "Dobbin Destroyer" named after the many times we've watched the sunset on the hook at Dobbins Island in the Magothy river just off the Chesapeake Bay. An honest shot of any kind of vodka and fresca ( add a slice of lime to sharpen it) in any size glass that suits your mood or thirst level. It's a great hot weather drink, very thirst quenching.

Fav on hook or campsite, If it's HOT! Margaritaville machine, Shaved Ice frozen Rita! W/ Jose Cuervo. Allowed to thaw gently (brain freeze not allowed) plenty o salt! After mowing the lawn, Bud light!

Seriously though, I'll have to try it since most of their stuff is produced by decent distilleries anyhow.

Pretty much the standard ingredients, but the technique of mixing them is what makes the difference between a good one versus a so-so one. Tell ya what--next time I make one (which will probably be tomorrow or Friday), I will record the process and post it. It's a delicious recipe!

Bourbon Slush
12 oz orange juice concentrate - Minute Maid
12 oz lemonade concentrate - Minute Maid
5 cups water
1 1/2cup or more of Bourbon - the more the better
1 cup sugar
Mix Bourbon Whiskey and sugar until dissolved
Add remaining ingrediants and mix well
Freeeze for 24 hours serve in punch bowl or by the glass with ginger ale

This was mine yesterday, a quaint little fishing village outside of Amsterdam, about 18c sitting in the sun, people getting their yachts ready for Spring. Sun was setting in front of me.
