My wife and I have become Bourbon snobs, so we don't travel without a bottle of Angel's Envy for sipping and a Maker's Mark to make an Old Fashioned. However, that isn't very tasty on a hot summer day--on these days, we prefer 10 Cane rum mojitos (yes, I make a damn good one), or Tito's Vodka (I like it with tonic, Kelly prefers my Cosmos).

bryan, what's your recipe for the Old Fashioned??? ....I still have to work on that...
Which part of bourbon "snob" did you miss? .
Seriously though, I'll have to try it since most of their stuff is produced by decent distilleries anyhow.
Pretty much the standard ingredients, but the technique of mixing them is what makes the difference between a good one versus a so-so one. Tell ya what--next time I make one (which will probably be tomorrow or Friday), I will record the process and post it. It's a delicious recipe!
