What do you pay ?Why do you think the prices vary so much even when the marinas are almost identical?I can get inside cold with not much access for 250.00 for 6 months,or inside cold with limited access for 90.00 a month,or inside heated for 119.00 a month limited access,or at one marina cold 1585.00 pretty much get in 9-5,heated at same1900.00,down the river 20 minutes by boatinside cold 540.75 access 9-5,heated 865.00 9-5 access.the marinas include bottom wash lift and lift in spring.I have a few small projects to do on her before spring, and the boat is trailerable seeing i just finished refurbing the trailer, just dont have the truck for it right now. What would you do?

Most of these charge by the square ft.and those prices are WITH discounts applied.

I'm paying $3,734 for heated storage with access for most of the day. They charge by the square foot and add another 2 feet to the length as part of the calculation. The rate is $8.50 per sq. foot.

I'm sure a major contributor to the rates are what the building owner's overhead is. An old building that was paid for by the prior generation might be low. A brand new building where the owner has a huge monthly nut may be way higher. There is not much rhyme or reason to much in the boat biz.

I'm paying, all-in, $1,545. All-in includes haul-out, spring launch, storage and winterize everything. It would have cost $1,700 but since I was brokering with the sample place and was going to store it at another place for $1,350, I haggled a bit.

Maybe we need a union?Standardize costs across the board.Hmmmmm sorry ill be getting screwed because im under 31ft6inches,forget it

$5.95 per square foot not counting the swim platform or bow pulpit. Inside temp is 51 degrees. Includes power washing the bottom, pumping the head, bunking and launch in the spring.

About $2800 outside shrink wrapped, pumped out, winterized, powerwashed, blocked and launched in the spring.

$3,100 indoor heated, power washed, pumped out, blocked and spring launch. $250 oil and filter change for both engines.

Store in my 30 x60 pole barn. Unlimited winter visitations.

Banagy,we love the fish sandwich. She makes me drive her up there every year.It was a bit short of vendors this year i thought. But the sandwiches and nachos were great!!!

I will pay about 1800 for inside non heated storage that includes haul out, bottom cleaning, full winterization any other maintenance items are extra. I do not have access to my boat and I can't work on it over the winter.

Got $750 for outside storage, $1000 winterizing, $450 shrink wrapping, 300DA twin 350s.

$48 00 per foot, indoor heated storage 62 degrees minimum, no access to work only to view

Sorry correction on decimal not present, should be $4.80 per foot per month.

$80 a month oct. to march $30 a month april to sept. for the 230.
covered open front shed. secured and gated. 24 hour access with key card and set out 7 days a week during business hours

Ok, this is the real estate market at work. There is a glut of empty comercial property available so if you can move your own boat you have more options. If you want heated storage and service options there are fewer choices and tight control. This is particularly true for Great Lakes "rust belt" areas but you must search out these other locations and they will not be as convenient.

I pay $250 per year for my Monaco and $350 per year for my 270 for inside unheated storage in an unused machine shop 2 miles from my home. This building owner is offering storage to offset carrying costs waiting for redevelopment of the area to resume when the economy picks up.

If you can move your own boat you likely can find and negotiate a similar deal.

I agree with monaco ,i also found a similar situation but heated and the price was rather high like 6.00 sq ft X352 sq ft. and no access.Anyway i added up the cost of having her pulled and stored in a heated store room and not see her most of the winter and all other options possible .She will be inside heated on her trailer for 886.00 includes pullout wash bottom andstore at 55-62 degrees with full access. Also has security gates and video monitoring.and i can put an ice shanty on the river and walley fish all winter if it freezes this year.Seeing its my first year there i dropped my dock niebors name and he will be getting 5% off his storage on his 2001 380 dancer also.
