Thanks great info. Was just worried the allunminum wouldnt provide as much protection. But I guess if it’s this hard to find the magnesium... if it were A problem I would have read something by now that people with pods in freshwater are having issues.Nothing wrong with Aluminum in fresh water. The Magnesium has a little better electrical potential but at the cost of needing to replace them more often. Additionally finding magnesium is a PITA and were much more $$$. I went looking for Mg anodes, and attempted to produce my own pencil anodes for a CAT 3126. It wasn't worth it.

The aluminum ones from Boatzincs.com would be fine as well.
