So, lets talk weather....

More rain in the desert today. My place in the mountains up north is getting hammered right now. Lake Mead went up another 5 feet. Trying my best to get the boat back in the water this weekend.
Don't see a lot of news coverage on the increasing levels on those lakes. I guess good news isn't as big a hit as bad news and visions of doom.

Oh I hate it! Michigan weather can be so beautiful, and such a pain in the ass:/ I’m really trying to get over to Lake St Clair this season, that lake looks beautiful.
Lake St Clair is really an awesome area to boat. Just not long enough for me.

This is the weather is miss so much. Perfect boring warmth.

I'm scheduled for the 26th but age is causing me some problems, don't know if I'll be able to.:(
Age..... Sucks getting old but it beats the alternative. I've been redoing my front yard landscape over the last few weeks and my work required way more breaks than I've been used to. My last job for my project was spreading a ton and a half of stones. In the past that wouldn't have required any breaks, just load the wheelbarrow, dump, spread and repeat. Not this time. A couple of loads spreading and then sitting down for a couple of minutes. Aggravating. My mind still thinks 50's, body is definitely 70's...

Tim, sure the lake is long enough, just continue down the Detroit river to Lake Erie or head north up the St. Clair river to Lake Huron. Plenty of good ports along the Lake Huron shoreline.

I can relate. That rotary tool weighed a hundred pounds at the end of the day. When it came time for the wax my helper helped me out, she can handle the little random orbital but it was so friggin cold that it would take overnight for the wax to haze. Just seemed to take forever this year.

I use Makita polishers. I bought one of these vertical polishers. It's about 2lbs less than the regular one. I really like it although some places the regular one is a better fit.

Light is good.
I’m thinking cordless next year but I’m waiting to buy it to see what next year brings.

Now that's kind of funny... I didn't proof read before hitting send. I'm an idiot. I meant the "season" isn't long enough.

I recall you whining about your boat being broke.... ;)
And for good reason….. I can’t toughen up my boat….. damn thing wants 55deg or higher heated storage ….. 40% or less humidity and the thing still breaks….. it needs a swift kick in the ass… is what it needs
Now you characters ….. I’m too old, It’s too cold, I broke my hand ….woe is me stuff …. That’s different… that’s whining…… bud lite whining

Wanted to wait until the sun was setting to work on the boat this evening. No sooner that I'm ready to go thunder, lightning and rain. Won't make splash on Monday as planned now. Have to try for after Memorial Day now. Kinda sucks but its helping the lake.
