Some manufacturers say purple is ethylene glycol based and some say it is safe for potable water (propylene glycol). There are only so many colors available. I drain my engine dry for the winter and put green antifreeze in at 50:50 (max protection for cars) in the spring. The pink recommendation is said to be for corrosion protection but would also benefit those who can't figure out how to drain all the lake water. Then there is the issue of why you would want to fog a 4-stroke. Let somebody else do it and sue him if your block cracks or your hamster dies.
